Jakob Nøtseth

Completed Bachelor in Computer Engineering (Software Engineering in Mobile- and Web-Technology) at Høgskolen i Bergen (Bergen University College) in 2010, with a background as Service Electrician on computers and office-equipment.

I have a wide understanding of web technologies and I am an experienced Cloud Architect, working with SharePoint development since 2012 and software development in general since early 2000, and later with other Microsoft 365 and Azure workloads. In addition I have a good understanding of client side development and server management and infrastructure. Have participated in important projects for Norwegian municipalities and counties migrating teamwork to Microsoft 365 and Azure, as well as some early projects for DnB Næringseiendom (DnB Commercial Real Estate) regarding a custom SharePoint document archiving solution, implementing SharePoint intranets at several customers, and development of Journal and AdOpus (EMR - Electronic Medical Records) at Avans AS.

I brushed up my .Net Core Development, developing microarchitecture services with ASP.Net Core and Docker containers sometime around 2014-2016. Also expanding my database-horizon using InfluxDB for time-series data collection. These last years I have been more focused on Microsofts security and teamwork/productivity solutions.

I have a good technical overview and use a short time to gain new competence. I am a solid .NET developer, especially with SharePoint products. Also I have knowledge about many different products and solutions from Microsoft like Visual Studio, MS Office, Windows Server and Clients, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server and more. I am an experienced architect, consultant and developer.
